This digital exhibition was created by Paul Bary, who worked as a reference librarian at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and as a periodicals librarian at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York.

Since 2013, Mr. Bary has volunteered in the James Ford Bell Library on a variety of projects including the online exhibits Early Atlases and How They Shaped the World and Captain Cook’s Voyages of Discovery.
