Daily says goodbye to home of 55 years

The Minnesota Daily editorial offices operate in the basement of the journalism school in Murphy Hall, but not for long.
Editorial staff members will pack up their belongings and leave Murphy Hall this Friday for a new home. The new Daily office is at 2301 University Ave. S.E., the former location of Campus Bikeways.
The Daily’s editorial and business offices will also be reunited in the new space after a separation of 23 years. The business office has been at 720 Washington Ave. S.E. since 1971. Business workers will remain in their current space until October 21, at which point they will join editorial workers in the new location.
