Two panels of watercolor and colored pencil illustration, set side-by-side on a white book cover. The panel on the left features a golden lion, his eye curiously focused out of frame, and the panel on the right features a gray-brown mouse clinging to a length of rope in a rope-net. Both illustrations bordered by a thin yellow line. A large umber-colored ampersand is printed between the two panels in serif type, with the creator’s name printed in slightly smaller umber serif type below the panels. His name is centered, all capitals. The book’s spine is also visible on the far left side of the picture.
