Description

A color separation on acetate. The blue writing indicates different percentages of magenta and yellow ink to print in the black areas. The black shapes labeled "white drop out" indicate to the engrave that no ink should be printed in this area, regardless of what any other color separations indicate. The camera used to create the engraved printing plates will not pick up the blue writing; only the black areas will be transferred to the plate.
